The Comic Monstore is Rowan County’s premier destination for comic books, games and toys. Since 2003, The Comic Monstore has catered to fans of super heroes, fantasy, science-fiction and horror. While the store has a wide variety of collectibles for kids of all ages, it has also become a gathering place for gamers. Weekly events usually include Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pathfinder, Star Wars: Destiny, Star Wars: X-wing miniatures, and a variety of other card games and board games.
This October, spend the evening with a “blood relative” to the author of the Gothic horror tale, Dracula. Dacre Stoker is the great, grand-nephew of Bram Stoker. Dacre is also the author of Dracul, the prequel to Dracula, and his novel is inspired by notes and texts left behind by his legendary ancestor. Dracul is a supernatural thriller that reveals not only Dracula’s true origins but Bram Stoker’s – and the tale of the enigmatic woman who connects them.
At 5:00pm on October 5th, 2019, Dacre Stoker would like you to join him for an intriguing presentation chronicling his discoveries while researching his family history and how he wrote an intriguing prequel to one of the most popular horror stories of all time.
Seats are limited. Use the Buy Now button below or stop by the Comic Monstore to secure your seat for $10. After the Presentation, Dacre will have his novels available for purchase and signing. Those that attend the 5:00pm presentation will receive a $10 discount toward the purchase of one of Dacre’s books.
At 6:30pm, the book signing will be open to the public. Dacre will have plenty of his books available for sale. Signatures are free of charge.

The Comic Monstore opened in May of 2003. Originally, the store was located in a small building near Statesville Blvd. In 2006, after surviving the growing pains of a new business, the Monstore moved to a larger, better location. Conveniently located near exit 75, off of I-85, the shop is easy to locate. The store is owned by Ray & Karen Franks, and the store manager is Shane Peoples. If you are hungry, we are near several locations for food, including: Wendy’s, Massimo’s Sandwich Shop, Casa Grande Mexican Restaurant, CiCi’s Pizza, and Ichiban’s Japanese Steakhouse.
813 Jake Alexander Blvd. S. Salisbury, NC 28147
NOTE – If you try to find us with GPS, it often leads people to an incorrect location. Remember, we are near Wendy’s and I-85.
